It is life eternal to know God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent. The various roles Jesus will take in the coming Kingdom, are outlined. A prophet’s job was to reveal God’s will to the people, whereas a priest represented the people before God, identifying with the people and teaching them God’s ways. A king represented God to the people, establishing justice and order.
